The Vision
We build a safer world through three practical values — compassion, grace, and generosity. Every decision in life, both public and private, can be formed on the basis of these values. Our relationships with people in our world, rather than abstract rules or principles, come first in this set of values. Relational ethics is more powerful, more transforming, than the ethics of rules and principles.
If the leaders of our nations pass laws and establish policies based on these values of compassion, grace, and generosity, the whole world would be a safer place for everyone to live, work, and worship as they choose. War, poverty, disease, disasters, violence, abuse, unemployment, family and marriage breakdown — these and all other problems would be more readily and effectively addressed if we live by these values and seek to realize this vision.
